Olympus Spa Editorial Review – by Jill Lightner
The Scene
The distinct air of an urban health club pervades this spa, which is made up of communal space. While friends enjoy sharing the facilities, the steamy, water-based area feels like a slightly upscale locker room--lots of nudity, lots of scrubbing, scents of chlorine mixed with mugwort. The dry heat rooms are more mellow, often silent, and offer truly cozy relaxation amid the infrared heat and warm herbal scents.
The Services
Totally natural materials are used for facials and body moisturizers--fresh cucumber, honey, olive oil and aloe vera. All treatments are technically excellent, but are more vigorously therapeutic than flat-out relaxing. Scrubs and moisturizers are done in a communal space, while massages and paraffin treatments are private. All of the pools, saunas and rooms are accessible without an appointment; add services and the appropriate therapist will come and find you in a timely manner.
The Details
Dry sauna, steam room, waterfall pool, whirlpools, mineral water pools, far-infrared rooms. Massage, reflexology, body treatments, facials.

I am really satisfied with the body scrub. My husband said that I might have a cultural shock because the spa style is Korean style. The scrubbing and moisturizing are done in open room with other people. Basically, this place has the best spa technically. My skin is smoother than a baby's butt.
- Pros: skill, facility
- Cons: no bathing suit
- Overall user rating: Highly Recommended

I love this place for its democratic and diverse atmosphere. You see all types, sizes and sorts of women here. Staff are great and one can spend an hour or a full day with no pressure whatsoever. The Korean restaurant is reasonalbe and interesting. Enjoy!
- Pros: atmosphere, cost, services
- Cons: location
